Our special guest today is George Hubbard, Executive Director of the Lights of the Delta. The largest drive through Christmas lighting display in the Mid-South region in the USA.

The town of Blytheville, Arkansas lights up each November with millions of tiny twinkling Christmas lights, 36 major motion displays and numerous complimentary pieces, Sitting on a 40 acre drive-through site, the former Ecker Air Force Base has a lake, trees, and paved roads to handle the approximately 1 1/2 mile family oriented, holiday experience. Whether it is a visit with Santa, a stop at the souvenir stand, the various types of entertainment, the live nativity on selected nights, or just to see the mesmerizing lights of the Delta in a car or on a hayride, it's a magical and memorable experience!

There are a number of special events planned for 2009 including the famous Lights of the Delta Pageant, a Christmas Parade and Breakfast with Santa to name a few.

The American Bus Association has named the event one of the Top 100 Attractions in North America. Known as ‘The Christmas City of Lights' it's a destination and experience of the holiday spirit that you don't to miss. Today discover it's many highlights and history!
